    Youth Parliament

A Youth Parliament in school is a simulated legislative session that provides students with an opportunity to understand India’s parliamentary system and democratic governance. Through role-play, students learn how Parliament functions by participating in proceedings such as the Question Hour, debates, discussions and the passing of bills.

The programme helps students develop leadership qualities, self-discipline, communication skills, critical thinking and confidence in public speaking. It also encourages students to understand democratic values, respect diverse viewpoints and become responsible and informed citizens.
